“A tall and lanky goaltender…great physical make up and athleticism…more reactive than proactive in technique showing strong reflexes…does rely on his big frame in his net and will play a low-risk effective blocking goaltending style as well as a reactive style…can find and track the puck even with traffic in front…consistently stops the first shot directed at him…can drop down too early but closes off the bottom portion of the net with long legs that seal off the ice…strong at holding ground in close encounters…leaves some holes up high forcing shooters to make a perfect shot over the shoulder from in close…has a sharp glove hand but his lateral mobility is in need of some improvement…gets his stick involved in the play on both poke checks and rebound control to knock pucks away from the crease area…large tender that doesn’t have to be rangy in order to get to his crease top and square up shots…potential to be a pro starter but has some work to do first.
